New Years Day 2022 has come and gone with the Wagra Herd grazing off and trampling down its hay paddocks, because those paddocks have been too wet to support harvesting machinery but ok with the long dense ground cover protecting the soil from the lighter weight of Dexter hooves. So, with apologies, we chose not to take advantage of the surge of buyers interested in purchasing Dexter breeding stock this season because we require every available mouth and foot to lower the altitude of the fodder load, which will otherwise become fuel load by the end of February. Thank you to enquirers for your interest in Wagra Dexters. The surge in enquiries has been amazing. I hope you have all been able to find what you were looking for and are now well on the way to becoming dedicated Dexter breeders. Congratulations to our earlier stud stock customers whose lovely Dexter breeders have since presented them with an array of 2021 calves by Dexterity Kinetic and Petalo Peter Pan. Congratulations also and many thanks to our wonderful loyal bulk-meat customers. We will have more sides of Dexter beef available late Autumn in time to stock your freezers for Winter.
